My favourite thing about the move next week into the new $350 million dollar buildings is all the discarded office supplies that are becoming art supplies:

  • padded envelopes
  • outdated post its
  • cardboard (omg! the BIGGEST most secret plans for my penpals! and also just to art with)
  • “old” Academic Calendar and Program Guide covers to scan for comedic value

The best things just kind of fall into your lap. There’s so much to get rid of (I purged rather than packed a good quarter to third of my veal fattening pen contents) and some of it is so useful. I was trying to figure out the last time we used CDs at work but then realized they weren’t worth taking home to use either. I’m making mixtapes on usb now. Although I so love making CD covers/sleeves.
