nevver: Saturday is Record Store Day! Go back and get ignored by record store employees who think they’re cooler than you, just like in the good old days. I’m a little bit like a kid on xmas eve. I’m that lame and totally cool with admitting it. I did a terrible job of whittling down the list of special releases I want to pick up and I’m also planning to go overbudget on a camera at Dick & Janes anniversary sale. It’s going to be the best analogue day ever. Jenn and I are kicking it off with free Earth Day coffees in reusable mugs and ending the plans with transplanting her herbs. J’adore le printemps.

this week is going to rock

  • Calgary Underground Film Fest with Chelsa (hopefully including John Waters’ This Filthy World!!!!)
  • Joel Plaskett Emergency at MacEwan Hall with JennP on Wednesday
  • giant sale at Dick & Jane’s (hopefully includes splurging on a very badass lomo camera I’ve been eying for what feels like ages)
  • Record Store Day, with more releases than I could ever afford but am going to splurge on anyway

And next week is the Calgary Expo which I’m really stoked on. After what feels like a two year funk, it’s nice to be busy and broke.
